About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Lead Educator to join our team at KinderCare Education. As a Lead Educator, you will play a vital role in shaping the educational experience of our young learners and supporting the growth and development of our teaching staff.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and Mentor: Provide guidance and support to less experienced teachers, modeling best practices and offering constructive feedback to ensure the highest quality of care and education.
  • Curriculum Implementation: Effectively implement KinderCare's research-backed curriculum, tailoring it to meet the unique needs of each child and promoting a love of learning.
  • Environment and Safety: Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment that fosters social, emotional, and cognitive growth in our children.
  • Parent Partnerships: Build strong relationships with parents, working collaboratively to provide the best possible care and education for their children.
  • Center Success: Contribute to the success of your center by partnering with staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement.
  • Community Building: Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners.
Requirements
  • Customer Service and Organizational Skills: Provide exceptional customer service, demonstrating strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask and handle multiple situations effectively.
  • Education and Experience: Possess a Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential or meet NAEYC candidacy requirements, with a preference for approved state trainers and 2-3 years of Early Childhood Education experience.
  • Certifications and Qualifications: Hold a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, CPR and First Aid Certification, and meet state-specific guidelines for the role.
  • Physical and Visual Abilities: Be able to lift a minimum of 40 pounds, work indoors or outdoors, and engage in physical activity with children, with the ability to read, write, understand, and speak English to communicate with children and their parents.
