The Center for Youth seeks a highly motivated and experienced Youth Program Enrichment Specialist to oversee the comprehensive activity-based after-school enrichment program. This role involves direct supervision of the learning guides, ensuring all aspects of the program comply with state and local requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer, coordinate, and oversee the program to provide education and mentoring opportunities that teach invaluable life-skills and social responsibility.
- Supervise, guide, and evaluate on-site program staff to ensure they meet the needs of students and families.
- Develop and submit monthly and quarterly reports to stakeholders, highlighting program progress and areas for improvement.
- Provide a positive youth development perspective, fostering a safe and supportive environment for students to thrive.
- Evaluate innovative opportunities to expand the agency's reach to the community through service learning initiatives.
Requirements and Qualifications:**
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field; preference given to those with experience designing hands-on activities for enhancing teambuilding and leadership skills.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, coordinating with various stakeholders, including teachers, administrators, and other program staff.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
