Phlebotomy Trainee

Overview:

As a Phlebotomy Trainee at Quest Diagnostics, you will be part of a dynamic team that provides high-quality patient services. This role is designed for individuals who are eager to learn and develop the skills required to become a Patient Services Representative (PSR) by the end of the training program.

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers in a courteous and professional manner.
• Collect phlebotomy and PSC specimens accurately and on time.
• Complete requisitions accurately and maintain required records and documentation.
• Communicate effectively with clients, patients, coworkers, and the public.
• Participate in training and development programs to achieve proficient training levels and competencies.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Keyboard/data entry application experience.
• Customer Service experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Medical training or medical terminology helpful but not required.

Physical and Mental Requirements:

• Capable of handling multiple priorities in a high-volume setting.

Knowledge:

• The position requires the ability to effectively communicate in English.
