Job SummaryWe are looking for a seasoned Occupational Therapist with a minimum of four years of experience to work in our Ambulatory Care clinic. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical knowledge and skills in the rehabilitation of the hand, wrist, forearm, and elbow.
Key Responsibilities- Examine and evaluate patient's occupational therapy needs, formulating an occupational therapy diagnosis and developing a treatment plan with treatment goals directed towards maximizing function.
- Demonstrate competency in all clinical knowledge and skills specific to the patient case type(s) in assigned area of care.
- Act as a clinical or non-clinical resource, consulting with other members of the healthcare team to ensure coordination and effectiveness of therapies provided.
- Participate in implementation of quality assurance program for clinical service, assisting in the proper care and distribution of department supplies and equipment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program.
- Current unrestricted license to practice occupational therapy from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
- Minimum of four years of clinical experience.
