- Standards and Best Practices: Define and enforce data model standards, naming conventions, and best practices to maintain data consistency and quality.
- Business Collaboration: Work with business users to understand requirements and build data model designs with scalable solutions.
- Technical Expertise: Develop and maintain expertise in data modeling tools, such as ERWIN, SQL Database Modeler, or ER/Studio, and experience with Snowflake Data Cloud.
- Communication: Effectively present complex technical information to non-technical audiences and senior decision-makers.
- Project Coordination: Coordinate information requirements of multiple departments, including assessment of usefulness, reliability, and cleanliness of data from several sources.
- Experience: Minimum 10+ years of total experience with a minimum of 5-6 years being a Data Modeler or Data Architect.
- Skills: Strong knowledge of SQL, dimensional modeling, and data warehousing concepts. Experience with Snowflake Data Cloud, Oracle, and SQL Server databases is preferred.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
