Key Responsibilities- Registration and Scheduling: Accurately update patient demographics, verify insurance eligibility, and collect payments and copayments.
- Patient Communication: Greet patients, make them feel welcome, and direct or assist them in completing necessary paperwork.
- Administrative Tasks: Perform opening duties, maintain patient confidentiality, and comply with HIPAA regulations.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: Previous experience in a medical office setting preferred.
- Skills: Excellent interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, ability to organize and prioritize tasks effectively, and flexibility to work some evenings and Saturdays.
