In-Home Installation Specialist

As an In-Home Installation Technician at Best Buy, you will be responsible for delivering, installing, integrating, and troubleshooting various tech products, including home theater, computing, smart home, and networking systems. Your primary goal will be to provide a seamless customer experience by offering personalized solutions based on their lifestyle and technology needs.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver and install tech products in customers' homes, ensuring a smooth and hassle-free experience.
- Provide expert advice on product recommendations and services to enhance customers' lifestyles.
- Collaborate with other Geek Squad Agents, service partners, retail employees, and supply chain employees to drive performance and meet Best Buy's strategy and initiatives.
- Manage inventory, vehicle maintenance, process paperwork and payment, provide feedback and training opportunities, and follow safety guidelines.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Must have a current, valid driver's license and maintain a driving record that meets Best Buy's safety standards.
- Ability to acquire and maintain any state or local licensing required to perform the job effectively within 90 days of hire.
- Ability to lift weights up to 75 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation and up to 150 pounds as part of a team with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to lift weights up to 250 pounds as part of a team with the support of tools such as harnesses or lifts.
- 6 months of experience in consumer electronics delivery, installation, integration, and troubleshooting.
- 6 months of customer service experience.
- 6 months of experience in installation, integration, and troubleshooting of advanced or complex consumer electronics products.
