Ophthalmic Technician/Medical Assistant

An eye care professional plays a vital role in providing excellent patient care to individuals during their visit to the ophthalmologist. The Ophthalmic Technician/Medical Assistant is a valuable asset to the team, assisting in preparing patients for exams and performing initial testing using specialized equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families
- Assist ophthalmologists with patient care and exams
- Perform various duties, including data entry and equipment maintenance
- Verify patient information and medical history
- Record patient data in electronic medical records
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- One year of related experience or training preferred
- COA or COT certification a plus

Physical Demands:
