Job Summary:

The Certified Nursing Assistant will perform direct resident care duties under the supervision of the Charge Nurse and Director of Nursing. This role requires a strong commitment to maintaining a positive, physical, and psychosocial environment for our residents.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and changing bed linens
  • Participate in resident activity programs
  • Prepare residents for meals and snacks
  • Assist residents with eating and record food intake
  • Read and follow daily care plans, perform assigned restorative and rehabilitative procedures, and report changes in condition to the Charge Nurse
  • Document care provision on resident records and report accidents and incidents
  • Follow safety and sanitation rules and report any injuries or violations to the supervisor
  • Understand and comply with regulations and policies regarding resident rights and promote peer compliance
  • Assist with admission, transfer, and discharge of residents
  • Promote positive relationships with residents, visitors, and government regulators

Requirements:

  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in good standing with the State, preferably with one year of experience
  • High School Diploma
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
