American Family Care Doylestown is seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join their team.

About the Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, utilizing your expertise in diagnostic imaging to assist physicians in diagnosing injuries and disease.

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing radiographic and other diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring compliance with approved radiology techniques and all policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:
  • Greet patients and explain procedures in a compassionate manner.
  • Position patients appropriately for diagnostic imaging procedures.
  • Practice ALARA radiation protection techniques.
  • Process images, review for proper identification and quality control, and prepare images for reading by a physician or radiologist.
  • Utilize digital and non-digital diagnostic imaging equipment, ensuring compliance with approved standards and policies.
  • Aid providers with prescribed patient treatments according to approved protocols.
  • Perform routine maintenance, diagnose malfunctions, and make minor repairs on equipment.
  • Complete forms and maintain records of work performed.
Qualifications:

An Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school, or six months to one year of related experience and/or training is required. ARRT registration or board eligibility is preferred, as well as state licensure where applicable.

Competitive salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
