Your Team
As a Senior Business Systems Analyst within a Global Identity & Access Management (IAM) Team, you will collaborate with product owners, technical leads, designers, engineers, and delivery professionals to serve as the main liaison between Technology and specific business sectors. Your role will involve identifying business unit requirements, developing project and process specifications, coordinating with project teams, and ensuring compliance with schedules and budgets to address complex business challenges. You will leverage your analytical and technical expertise while demonstrating exceptional problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills. An agile mindset, strong business acumen, inclusive leadership, and a commitment to continuous learning will be integral to your contributions.
Typical Day Expectations
- Assist the Director of Business Systems Analysis and Product Owner in establishing a clear and ambitious product vision, effectively communicating the narrative to key stakeholders and the team while beginning to identify opportunities for team input and coaching.
- Tackle intricate problems where the analysis of situations or data necessitates the evaluation of intangible variables.
- Collaborate with product owners to comprehend needs and define feature stories, work with technical leads to establish technical designs, and engage with team members to grasp the system comprehensively, delivering robust solutions that yield business impact.
- Address significant and unique challenges where the analysis of situations or data requires evaluating intangible variables that may influence future concepts, products, or technologies.
- Work on highly complex issues where the analysis of situations or data necessitates evaluating often intricate variables related to technology and/or data, exercising independent judgment in developing methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for achieving results.
- Take ownership of the complete product strategy from inception and assess business value once the solution is operational.
- Ensure alignment of product features and stories by reviewing, providing feedback, and prioritizing user stories in accordance with the product vision.
- Understand the overarching vision and take ownership of aspects of product management and roadmap activities.
Skills & Expertise Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Analytics, or related fields.
- Proficiency in agile development methodologies and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
- Familiarity with business concepts, tools, and processes essential for making informed decisions within the company’s operational context.
- A commitment to continuous learning and the ability to acquire new skills and knowledge through self-initiative and problem-solving.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration capabilities.
- Practical experience and/or expertise in several of the following areas:
o Project/Product Management:
Planning, progress monitoring, and status reporting, including work visualization; Scaling Agile - organizing and synchronizing multiple team setups, estimations, ROI, and project life cycle management.
o Effective Communication:
Understanding of effective communication principles, tools, and techniques; ability to accurately convey, receive, and interpret ideas, information, and needs through appropriate communication behaviors. Ability to facilitate dialogue at the appropriate level of detail for all Agile team members.
o Decision-Making & Critical Thinking:
Knowledge of decision-making processes and associated tools; ability to analyze situations accurately and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.
o Business Acumen:
Understanding of business concepts, tools, and processes necessary for sound decision-making in diverse situations.

Knowledge of techniques and ability to work collaboratively with various individuals and groups. Capacity to function seamlessly with business partners and software developers in a liaison role.

Understanding of financial concepts, tools, and processes, and how financial metrics are utilized to monitor and drive outcomes.

Familiarity with techniques and tools that enhance effective analysis; ability to identify root causes of organizational challenges and devise alternative solutions.
