Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent patient care skills, a strong understanding of radiology procedures, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Adhere to departmental procedures and regulations, ensuring compliance with life safety, fire, and hazardous waste protocols.
- Maintain licensure and stay current with departmental training and education.
- Perform radiology procedures, including portable, ER, trauma, fluoro, and general imaging, as needed.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and customer service skills, providing a positive experience for patients and colleagues.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, reporting equipment maintenance issues and monitoring supplies and inventory.
- Participate in clinical activities, such as patient flow and care, and contribute to the Radiology Ambassador team.
- Ensure compliance with timekeeping rules and attend staff meetings to stay informed and support initiatives.
- Patient care and safe handling training required.
- General, portable, ED, trauma, fluoro, and pediatric experience preferred.
- Graduate of an AMA-approved Radiology Technologist Program and registry eligibility.
- NJ DEP license required upon hire.
- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologist) certification.
- Current BLS certification.
- NJDEP license - Radiology Technology.
Sunday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM.
