Key Responsibilities:
  • Sales Performance: Ensure the store meets and exceeds sales targets, prioritizing daily agendas to meet business goals and holding the team accountable for achieving those objectives.
  • Team Leadership: Recruit, interview, and select qualified candidates to build a balanced staff, leading and inspiring a customer-centered culture by recognizing and rewarding team members.
  • Customer Experience: Drive brand loyalty by delivering outstanding internal and external customer experiences, communicating merchandising concepts and trends to the staff.
  • Store Operations: Ensure store standards are met, maintaining cleanliness, safety, and overall store appearance.
  • Staff Development: Conduct monthly one-on-one meetings with staff to discuss strengths and areas of opportunity, providing coaching and guidance to support their growth and development.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of retail experience in home furnishings, with a proven track record of sales growth and team leadership.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, to meet the needs of the business.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and sales skills, with excellent communication and follow-up skills.
  • Proficient in MS Excel, with experience in STORIS systems a plus.
Compensation and Benefits:
  • $60,000.00 plus commission and a bonus based on business growth.
  • Full-time position with benefits, including medical, vision, dental, and 401(k) with 2% match.
