Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Manager to lead our quick-service restaurant, Red Mesa Mercado. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in managing front-of-house and back-of-house operations, delivering exceptional customer service, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Front-of-House Operations:
    • Manage customer service teams to ensure high levels of satisfaction and loyalty.
    • Supervise and train staff to deliver excellent service and maintain a clean and welcoming dining area.
    • Oversee daily sales activities, promotions, and customer engagement initiatives to drive revenue growth.
    • Resolve customer complaints and feedback in a timely and effective manner.
  • Back-of-House Operations:
    • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure food quality, portion control, and consistency with brand standards.
    • Manage inventory, track supplies, and minimize waste through effective planning and coordination with suppliers.
    • Ensure the kitchen operates in compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards, conducting regular checks and audits.
    • Lead, train, and develop kitchen staff to maintain high culinary standards and optimize kitchen efficiency.
  • General Management:
    • Oversee daily cash handling, sales reporting, and profit margins, working towards achieving monthly financial targets.
    • Lead a team of FOH and BOH staff, fostering a positive work environment, ensuring accountability, and maintaining high morale.
    • Assist in recruiting, hiring, and onboarding new team members to meet operational needs.
    • Prepare and adjust staff schedules based on business needs, optimizing labor costs and efficiency.
    • Ensure the entire restaurant is compliant with all health, safety, and legal regulations.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in a management role within a quick-service or fast-casual restaurant.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to lead, coach, and motivate a diverse team.
  • Solid understanding of kitchen operations, food preparation, and service delivery.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to think on your feet and handle fast-paced, high-pressure situations effectively.
  • Knowledge of basic accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and multi-task between different responsibilities.
  • Familiarity with POS systems, inventory management software, and scheduling tools.
  • ServSafe or equivalent certification preferred.
