Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Angiography Technologist Lead to join our team at St. Joseph Health. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging team, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating the daily operations of the Angiography department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and mentor other technologists to ensure high-quality patient care and efficient department operations.
  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of Angio equipment, including knowledge of procedures that require contrast agents.
  • Manage patients during complex Angio procedures, exams, and biopsies, while following ALARA standards.
  • Coordinate patient transfer and positioning techniques, and handle multiple tasks and projects with ease.
  • Provide general oversight of inventory, scheduling staff, and managing board/schedule.
Requirements
  • Associate's Degree preferred.
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) (R) and certified by the State of Texas - MRT.
  • American Heart Association BLS card.
  • Three (3) years of experience in a related field.
