Global Training Manager Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Global Training Manager to join our team at ITW Food Equipment Group.

About the Job

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in training and development, with experience in creating quality training materials focused on product, features, and benefits. They will play a pivotal role in enabling internal and external sales resources to deliver exceptional customer service and support.

Responsibilities
  • Create detailed training plans for new sales representatives to accelerate learning and expertise of all FEG product lines and equipment.
  • In coordination with product lines marketing teams, develop and deliver training for new product launches.
  • Develop and deliver training for Independent Rep Groups and Dealers that provides them with the tools to sell ITW FEG product lines while balancing proprietary information.
  • Lead and conduct 'Oh Norman' and other sales training modules, customizing programs as needed for ITW FEG Sales and Marketing.
  • Recommend, establish, and implement certification programs and metrics.
  • Report on training effectiveness and make adjustments where needed to improve effectiveness.
  • Identify new training opportunities and work with cross-functional teams to create and deliver.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive knowledge management strategy aligned with Annual Plan and Long-Range Planning objectives.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Training and Development, Education, or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years in a Training, Implementation, or customer success role ideally in a global environment.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work in cross-functional teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate strategy into tangible action items and execute effectively.
  • Experience managing project teams from inception through planning, execution, and completion.
  • Proven ability to take initiative, work as a team leader and member, and build collaborative relationships.
  • Prior experience in the food equipment industry is preferred.
  • Results-oriented.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% (domestic and internationally).
Benefits and Salary Information

The estimated annual salary for this position is $120,000 - $150,000, depending on experience. ITW Food Equipment Group offers a competitive compensation package, including health insurance, retirement savings plan, and paid time off.
