Job Overview

Haven Behavioral Healthcare is a leading provider of behavioral health services, and we are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team. As a full-time Nurse Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate care to patients with mental health and substance abuse issues.

About the Role
As a Registered Nurse at Haven Behavioral Healthcare, your responsibilities will include conducting patient assessments, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and supervising Behavioral Health Technicians. You will work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary treatment team to ensure safe and effective care delivery. In addition, you will assume the role of Charge Nurse when assigned, providing leadership and guidance to the team. We offer a competitive salary package, including:
  • $66,000 per year, plus shift differentials and comprehensive benefits

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments to identify treatment needs and develop individualized care plans.
  • Provide direct patient care, including medication administration, wound care, and vital sign monitoring.
  • Supervise and train Behavioral Health Technicians to ensure quality care delivery.
  • Communicate effectively with the treatment team to ensure seamless care coordination.
  • Assume the role of Charge Nurse when assigned, providing leadership and guidance to the team.

Requirements
We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Registered Nurse with a strong background in behavioral health care. To be considered for this role, you must have:
  • A current RN license in the state of practice.
  • A minimum of one year of experience working in a behavioral health setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
