OVERVIEW: The role of the Human Capital Management (HCM) Implementation Consultant encompasses a variety of tasks associated with the execution of project components and oversight of project outputs. This position emphasizes the effective implementation and configuration of HCM systems, particularly with expertise in Ultimate Kronos Group (UKG) and/or Ceridian solutions. The consultant participates in an extensive training program designed to impart specialized knowledge of HCM software systems, consulting methodologies, and project management practices to proficiently assist partners and clients.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Engagement in designated HCM system training and industry-specific educational sessions
  • Acquisition of critical knowledge areas and maintenance of relevant certifications
  • Clear communication with management, project team members, clients, and partners
  • Providing support to clients by shadowing partners and internal consultants
  • Overseeing and executing projects, preparing deliverables, project documentation, and conducting system testing
  • Identifying and addressing project risks, challenges, and dependencies
  • Establishing and nurturing successful relationships with partners and clients

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborating with Management and Sales Manager(s) on client engagement strategies
  • Collecting client feedback, articulating value, and soliciting input
  • Adjusting work schedules in accordance with client requirements and travel obligations
  • Complying with company policies and fulfilling assigned responsibilities

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Minimum of 5+ years' experience in HCM systems or Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP)
  • Functional expertise in Ceridian, UKG, and Kronos systems
  • Ability to acquire knowledge of new HCM systems and processes, along with project management skills
  • Comprehension of HR/Payroll best practices and system configuration
  • Strong time management, interpersonal, and communication capabilities
  • Analytical, problem-solving, and detail-oriented approach
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and virtual work environments
  • Willingness to travel based on client needs, manage luggage, and work remotely

This role may necessitate varied travel and the capacity to work remotely.
