Key Responsibilities- Assist healthcare providers with patient care, including vital signs, medical histories, and treatment plans.
- Perform a variety of administrative and clinical tasks, such as scheduling appointments, preparing exam rooms, and handling medical records.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with the ambulatory professional development team to stay current on clinical innovations and best practices.
- Provide exceptional customer service, responding to patient inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Minimum one year of recent experience working in a medical facility as a medical assistant and/or documented evidence of externship completed in a medical office.
- Epic experience preferred.
- Graduate of a post-secondary medical assisting education program accredited by NJAC(13: approved certifying body AND current certification from a recognized certifying board approved by NJ Board of Medical Examiners.
