Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our Interventional Radiology team at Emory Healthcare. As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional patient care and work collaboratively with our physicians and staff to deliver high-quality patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive patient care, including physical examinations, diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and patient education.
  • Work closely with our physicians to develop and implement patient care plans, including medication management and treatment protocols.
  • Conduct patient interviews and document patient histories, psychosocial histories, health status, and medical problems or potential problems.
  • Assist with patient scheduling, coordination of care, and communication with other healthcare providers.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as an advanced practice nurse in the state of Georgia by the Georgia Board of Nursing and certification as a Nurse Practitioner by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or equivalent body, or Certified as a Physician's Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
  • 2-3 years of procedural experience as a Physician Assistant or Acute Care Nurse Practitioner.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
