Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in the PACU and Endoscopy Units at Palo Pinto General Hospital. As a PACU Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and support to patients undergoing surgical procedures.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care and support to patients in the PACU and Endoscopy Units
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to physicians
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date on the latest medical procedures and technologies
Requirements
  • Graduate of a Professional Nursing School
  • One-year experience of critical care preferred
  • Registered Nurse currently licensed to practice in the State of Texas
  • Current in CPR and ACLS certification required
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification preferred
