We are seeking a skilled and compassionate PACU Nurse to join our team at Palo Pinto General Hospital. As a key member of our Day Surgery, Endoscopy, and PACU Units, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our patients and families.
Responsibilities:- Provide nursing care to patients in the Day Surgery, Endoscopy, and PACU Units
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team
- Transport patients to other areas of the hospital as needed
- Start IVs and work independently to provide patient care
- Graduate of a Professional Nursing School
- One-year experience in critical care preferred
- Registered Nurse currently licensed to practice in the State of Texas
- Current in CPR
- ACLS certification required
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) is preferred
