Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Program Manager to join our team at the Department of the Treasury. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading and managing programs to achieve strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, direct, and evaluate the work of subordinate managers and employees to ensure the successful completion of programs.
  • Apply management techniques, methods, theories, principles, and labor relations concepts to optimize the use of personnel, equipment, and space.
  • Develop and implement policies, procedures, and processes to improve program efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address program challenges and opportunities.
  • Provide guidance and support to employees to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
Requirements
  • One year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower level payband or GS grade in the normal line of progression.
  • Experience applying management techniques, methods, theories, principles, and labor relations concepts to optimize the use of personnel, equipment, and space.
  • Experience planning, directing, and evaluating the work of subordinate managers and employees.
  • Experience developing and implementing policies, procedures, and processes to improve program efficiency and effectiveness.
Working Conditions

This is a non-bargaining unit position. The salary range indicated in this announcement reflects the minimum locality pay up to maximum locality pay for all duty locations listed.
