Position Overview

  • Oversee the development of project design documentation and provide technical guidance to ensure effective project execution.
  • Maintain domain standards that comply with enterprise guidelines, ensuring solutions are optimally architected, secure, high-performing, and integrated with other systems.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies for potential integration within the domain.
  • Document the technology landscape utilized in business operations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and other IT and business stakeholders to guarantee successful planning and execution of systems initiatives.
  • Provide leadership and direction in designing and implementing functional solutions that offer a competitive edge in alignment with business needs and strategies.
  • Responsible for assessing new technologies in the domain, developing domain-specific roadmaps, and offering technical oversight for solution design and implementation.

Qualifications

Experience:
12 years in Information Technology.
2+ years in IT architecture within larger organizations.

Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or a related discipline. Any suitable combination of education and experience will be considered.

Preferred Skills and Knowledge
  • Extensive knowledge of various technical configurations, technologies, and processing environments.
  • Strong ability to interpret business requirements to ensure technical strategies are aligned and consistent within the organization.
  • Proficient in quickly understanding the functions and capabilities of new technologies.
  • Advanced critical thinking skills with the capacity to develop innovative problem-solving approaches.
  • In-depth knowledge of SOA and object-oriented analysis and design.
  • Thorough understanding of business process re-engineering principles and methodologies.
  • Ability to facilitate analysis sessions and contribute to documentation.
  • Strong capability to assess the financial implications of technical architecture alternatives.
