Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Research Analyst IV to join our team at Calvert Systems Engineering Inc. As a key member of our organization, you will provide subject matter expertise and guidance in support of detailed operational and technical analyses of airborne intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance (ISR) sensors, systems, and architectures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and lead multi-disciplinary teams in defining ISR system requirements, tactics, techniques, and procedures required to conduct independent performance assessments.
  • Guide the planning, design, development, and execution of sensor/system/architecture models and simulations to support sensor/system performance assessments.
  • Supervise Research Engineer I, II, III, and IV.

Requirements:

  • Master's Degree Required. Degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Mathematics, Physical Science, or related field required.
  • Mathematical knowledge sufficient to actively participate in developing models and simulations of operationally and technically complex ISR missions, architectures, systems, and components preferred.
  • Fifteen (15+) years of operational experience with airborne ISR systems/networks.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a TOP SECRET/SCI security clearance.
  • Familiarity with DOD and DAF policies, instructions, and directives related to airborne ISR operational and technical requirements.
  • Previous experience managing overall technical scope, cost, staffing, production, and deliverables from major or prime contract level programs, including multiple simultaneous research projects is desired.
  • Experience in managing a combination of individuals with varying technical skills.
