At Martin Brower, we are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Sanitation Worker - Distribution Center to join our team. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment within our distribution center.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and maintain various surfaces, furniture, restrooms, locker rooms, trailers, tractors, and work areas using cleaning chemicals, paints, and equipment.
- Perform light maintenance tasks, such as changing light bulbs, painting, and other minor repairs.
- Empty trash receptacles throughout the building and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Operate light to heavy cleaning equipment, including floor scrubbers, floor vacuums, pressure washers, and lawn mowers.
- Work independently and as part of a team to achieve facility maintenance goals.
Requirements:
- 0 to 6 months of general experience in a related field.
- Ability to operate light to heavy cleaning equipment.
- Willingness to work any schedule, including weekends and holidays, due to our 24/7 environment.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Pass a post-offer background and drug test.
