Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Phlebotomist Patient Services Representative to join our team. As a Phlebotomist, you will play a vital role in our healthcare team by drawing blood samples from patients and preparing them for lab testing.

Responsibilities:
  • Accurately and efficiently collect blood samples from patients of all ages, following established procedures.
  • Prepare specimens for lab testing, ensuring proper labeling and storage.
  • Verify patient information and obtain patient signatures.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, building trust and confidence with patients.
  • Demonstrate leadership behaviors and a commitment to process excellence.
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred
  • Phlebotomy certification preferred (required in California, Nevada, and Washington)
  • 3+ years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
  • 2+ years of experience in a patient service center environment preferred
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends, holidays, and overtime
