Phlebotomist I

As a Phlebotomist I, you will be responsible for collecting blood samples from patients in a variety of settings, including hospitals, clinics, and laboratories. • Collect blood samples from patients using a variety of techniques, including venipuncture and capillary puncture.
• Prepare and process blood samples for testing, including labeling, centrifuging, and aliquoting.
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient information, including demographic data and test results.
• Communicate effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and laboratory staff to ensure accurate and timely testing.
• Participate in ongoing training and education to stay up-to-date on the latest laboratory techniques and procedures.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Medical training or experience preferred.
• Phlebotomy certification preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
