Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical and Mechanical Systems Technician to join our team at Jobot. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for designing, installing, and maintaining electrical and mechanical systems for our equipment and machinery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Installation: Design minor electrical circuits and troubleshoot electrical, PLC, and electronic systems used for machine and equipment control.
  • Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnose and repair issues in hydraulic and pneumatic circuits.
  • Electrical and Electronic Controls: Install electrical and electronic controls on machines and equipment by reading and interpreting schematics or blueprints.
  • System Maintenance: Perform basic mechanical repairs and maintain electrical and mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance.
  • Leadership and Oversight: May oversee the work of others in lower classifications and perform tasks associated with lower-classifications, as needed.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: A two-year associate degree or a minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in using a computer to search for parts and enter data into a CMMS.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, sit, perform manual tasks, and engage in stooping and bending.
  • Pre-Employment Requirements: Successful completion of a pre-employment physical, including a baseline test for lifting a minimum of 50 pounds, and a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
