Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in a school environment. This role is ideal for professionals with a minimum of 1+ years of experience in speech therapy.

About the Role:
The selected candidate will work with a large educational institution, providing essential services to K-12 students. Responsibilities will include assessing communication abilities, identifying disorders, and determining eligibility for programs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate student communication skills and diagnose communication disorders.
  • Facilitate meetings to discuss evaluation results, develop treatment plans, and provide training to parents, students, and staff.
  • Create comprehensive documentation including treatment plans, reports, and required correspondence.
  • Address inquiries from parents, teachers, and other stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with Medicaid billing procedures in accordance with district policies.

Qualifications:

  • ASHA certification is preferred; Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply.
  • A valid Virginia SLP license (either provisional or full) is required.
