Job Summary:

As an Ultrasound Technologist at Advocate Health, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and diagnostic imaging services. This position requires a strong foundation in ultrasound procedures, anatomy, and pathology, as well as excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Perform diagnostic ultrasound exams for pediatric to geriatric populations, demonstrating competence and attention to detail.
2. Collaborate with radiologists and peers to ensure optimal image acquisition and patient care.
3. Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to infection control procedures.
4. Stay up-to-date with industry standards and best practices in ultrasound technology.

Requirements:

Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Ultrasound
Registered by the ARDMS with subspecialty certification in OB/GYN, Abdomen, Breast, or Vascular obtained within one year of hire
CPR Certification

Physical Demands:

This role requires the ability to lift up to 35 pounds without assistance and to use patient handling equipment when necessary. The incumbent must also be able to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
