Moldmaker Technician

BD is seeking a skilled Moldmaker to join our team. As a Moldmaker, you will be responsible for operating state-of-the-art CAD/CAM software and equipment to produce prototype parts, thermo-plastic and thermo-set injection molds, and lab equipment.

• Operate CAD/CAM software and equipment to design and program toolpaths for electrode and direct milling operations.
• Work from computer-generated models to produce prototype parts and molds.
• Use precision measuring tools to check work against design.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop new products and improve existing ones.
• Comply with all local, state, federal, and BD safety regulations, policies, and procedures.

• A.A. or A.S. degree in a technical field related to the job function.
• 10 years of directly related mold making experience.
• Ability to operate lathes, milling machines, EDM, and surface grinders with a high degree of skill.
• Extensive injection mold building, tool and die fabrication experience.
• 3D CAD/CAM skills and experience.
