Moldmaker Technician

We are seeking a skilled Moldmaker Technician to join our team at BD. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for operating state-of-the-art CAD/CAM software, high-speed mill, and EDM equipment to produce prototype parts, thermo-plastic and thermo-set injection molds, and lab equipment.

• Operate CAD/CAM software to design and program toolpaths for electrode and direct milling operations.
• Work from computer-generated models to produce prototype parts and molds.
• Use precision measuring tools to check work against design.
• Comply with all local, state, federal, and BD safety regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Comply with all local BD quality policies, procedures, and practices.

• A.A. or A.S. degree in a technical field related to job function preferred or High School Degree with Journeyman's certificate in moldmaking or equivalent preferred.
• 10 years directly related mold making experience preferred.
• Must be able to operate lathes, milling machines, EDM, and surface grinders with a high degree of skill.
