We are seeking a skilled Vendor Management Specialist to join our team at Disability Solutions. As a key member of our procurement and vendor management program, you will play a vital role in supporting our enterprise-wide initiatives.

Job Description

The Vendor Management Specialist will be responsible for performing comprehensive analysis of vendor spend data, ensuring compliance with data integrity standards and legal requirements, resolving any issues related to vendor data or system functionality, and identifying areas for improvement. Additionally, this role will collaborate with business units to measure pre-engagement cost and/or estimated savings business case, provide accurate and timely savings and opportunity analysis of vendor estimates/pricing proposals, serve as the system administrator for the vendor software program, and monitor vendor performance through metrics.

Responsibilities
  • Perform detailed analysis of vendor spend data using multiple sources and internal systems
  • Ensure vendor data is compliant with data integrity standards as well as legal requirements
  • Resolve any issues related to vendor data or system functionality and identify areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with business units to measure pre-engagement cost and/or estimated savings business case
  • Provide accurate and timely savings and opportunity analysis of vendor estimates/pricing proposals
  • Serve as the system administrator for the vendor software program
  • Monitor vendor performance through metrics
Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • Three to five years of related experience in a financial institution preferred
  • Vendor Management experience working in procurement, contract management, and/or vendor management required
  • Strong computer skills and willingness to learn GRC specific software programs
  • Strong reporting and analytical skills
  • Advanced experience in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access)
  • Preferred experience in SQL Server and Power BI
  • Effective written and verbal communications, analytical, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills
  • Professional and service-focused communication etiquette
  • Organized, efficient, and able to prioritize work in order to meet deadlines
  • Manage and administer processes with appropriate direction from management
  • Detail-oriented to generate accurate and precise results
Benefits
