Job Summary:

The Mechanical Drafter III will be responsible for creating detailed mechanical drawings and designs using SolidWorks and AutoCAD software. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of ASME/ANSI drawing standards and experience working with large multilevel 3D assemblies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and draft mechanical components and systems using SolidWorks and AutoCAD software.
  • Develop and maintain detailed drawings and designs for mechanical systems and components.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design and drafting meet project requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry standards and best practices for mechanical drafting and design.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent plus six (6) years related work experience in CAD design and drafting, or;
  • Associates Degree in CAD or drafting studies, plus four (4) years' related work experience in CAD design and drafting.
  • Advanced proficiency with AutoCAD (electrical and mechanical drafting).
  • Advanced proficiency with SolidWorks (mechanical design and drafting).
