Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Phlebotomist Group Lead to join our team at Quest Diagnostics Incorporated. As a key member of our Patient Service Center, you will be responsible for leading a team of phlebotomists and ensuring the smooth operation of our laboratory services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of phlebotomists and provide guidance and support to ensure excellent patient service and quality results.
  • Develop and implement processes to improve efficiency and productivity in the Patient Service Center.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of laboratory services.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and Quest Diagnostics policies and procedures.
  • Provide training and development opportunities to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Seven years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.
  • Keyboard/data entry experience.
  • Flexible and available based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime.
  • Must have reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and clean driving record, if applicable.
  • Travel and flexible hours required to work multiple locations and cover at Patient Service Center/Mobile/Long-Term Care/In-Office Phlebotomy locations with minimal notice.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
  • Minimum five years in a Patient Service Center (PSC) / In-Office (IOP) environment preferred.
  • Customer service in a retail or service environment preferred.
