We take pride in being the only health system in Georgia with four Magnet-recognized hospitals. We are looking for dedicated critical care nurses who are eager to redefine the standards of quality nursing care.

Position Overview:
As a Registered Nurse in GI Acute Care, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional clinical care to patients. You will leverage your extensive experience and knowledge to address the needs of a specific patient population, utilizing the Synergy Model for Care to tailor your approach for each patient and their family.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Communicate effectively and respectfully with patients, families, and healthcare team members while providing safe and reliable care.
  • Demonstrate strong assessment skills and understand the impact of nursing interventions on patient outcomes.
  • Accurately document the nursing process in the appropriate formats and independently plan and implement patient care.
  • Incorporate patient and family input into care planning while managing time efficiently.
  • Revise policies and procedures based on evidence-based research to enhance patient care.
  • Participate in the evaluation of patient care documentation for effectiveness.
  • Achieve required points and contact hours as defined in the clinical lattice point system.

Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify for this position, candidates must possess a valid, active, unencumbered Nursing license or a temporary permit approved by the Georgia Licensing Board. Additionally, candidates should be graduates of an accredited nursing program with at least 12 months of recent nursing experience within the past five years or have recently completed a re-entry nursing program. BLS certification is required, and ACLS certification may be necessary in designated departments.
