Position Overview:
As a Registered Nurse in our GI Acute Care unit, you will play a crucial role in delivering exceptional patient care. You will utilize your extensive clinical knowledge and experience to provide personalized care to our diverse patient population.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Communicate effectively and compassionately with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and understand the implications of nursing interventions on patient outcomes.
  • Document nursing processes accurately in various formats, ensuring compliance with established protocols.
  • Incorporate patient and family goals into care planning while managing time efficiently.
  • Engage in continuous evaluation and improvement of patient care documentation.
  • Maintain professional development by achieving required points and contact hours.

Minimum Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:
  • A valid and active nursing license or temporary permit approved by the Georgia Licensing Board.
  • A degree from an accredited nursing program.
  • A minimum of 12 months of recent nursing experience or completion of a re-entry nursing program.
  • BLS certification; ACLS certification may be required in specific departments.
