About the Role:

This is a 6+ month contract-to-hire opportunity that offers a fully remote work arrangement with a market rate pay. You will be working with a global user base of 25,000 colleagues and will have the opportunity to support key strategic initiatives to bring innovation and improvements to our workplace services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the development of technical designs, policies, and standards for GBS Workplace Technology services
  • Implementation of virtual desktop technologies and supporting technologies, with a strong emphasis on using Microsoft Intune for end-point management
  • Provides specialist guidance and support for other GBS IT teams to ensure the service is healthy, available, and utilized efficiently
  • Facilitates open communication and discussion between direct colleagues and other teams to support engineering activities and operational support

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. Computer Science, Information Systems Management) or equivalent experience
  • 7-10 years of overall experience with Information Technology in a matrixed environment
  • 7+ years of work experience in a similar role
  • Technology skills at a global enterprise scale:
    • Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop
    • Microsoft Windows 365
    • Microsoft Intune
    • Azure cloud infrastructure (networking, authentication, security boundaries, policies, etc)
    • Amazon Workspaces
    • Amazon AppStream 2.0
    • Automation (e.g. provisioning, configuration changes, self-service tools, etc.) based on PowerShell
  • Certifications, either in possession of or demonstrative of skill level:
    • AZ-140: Configuring and operating Microsoft Azure Virtual Desktop
    • MD-102: Endpoint Administrator
    • AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner
