Job Summary

KVC Health Systems is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Family Support Worker to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will provide essential support and assistance to Case Managers in their work to facilitate timely permanency for children and families in need of care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise parent/child and sibling visits to promote healthy relationships;
  • Assist clients in accessing community resources, including housing, utilities, mental health, and healthcare services;
  • Teach parents daily living skills, such as budgeting, housekeeping, and parenting techniques;
  • Provide in-home support to children and families to promote stability and well-being;
  • Participate in case management meetings and planning conferences to ensure comprehensive support;
  • Ensure accuracy of reports and address missing or incorrect data to maintain high-quality case information;
  • Monitor and update CMS to keep case information current;
  • Perform various duties to ensure smooth workflow and contract compliance.
Requirements
  • Experience in working with vulnerable and at-risk children and older youth required;
  • Intermediate computer skills required;
  • Ability to drive and transport clients using fleet vehicles;
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation and Benefits
  • A competitive salary range of $55,000 - 70,000 per year, depending on experience;
