Position Summary:
This role requires a skilled clinical professional to perform various duties in physician practices. Responsibilities include obtaining and documenting vital signs, administering injections and medications, performing EKGs and other point-of-care testing and treatments, triaging phone calls and electronic messages, and maintaining a pleasant and efficient working environment. A strong emphasis is placed on teamwork and collaboration within the department.
Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements:
A High School Diploma is required for this position. Previous experience in a medical office or hospital department is preferred, as well as established clinical skills and expertise in vital sign accuracy, EKGs, medication administration, and point-of-care testing. RMA, CMA, or comparable certification is also highly valued. Basic insurance knowledge and strong EMR/documentation skills are desirable. Good verbal communication skills are essential for success in this role.
Estimated Salary Range: $40,000 - $55,000 per year, depending on experience.
