Position Summary: Responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery, equipment, physical structures, and pipe and electrical systems by performing the following tasks.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct visual inspections and tests on machinery and equipment.
  • Listen for unusual sounds from machines or equipment to identify malfunctions and collaborate with supervisors or other maintenance personnel to troubleshoot issues.
  • Dismantle defective machines and equipment, installing new or repaired components as necessary.
  • Clean and lubricate machinery parts, including shafts, bearings, and gears.
  • Schedule maintenance activities to minimize disruption to production timelines.
  • Coordinate repairs promptly to support the production team in achieving their scheduled goals.
  • Install and repair electrical devices, including transformers, wiring, and electronic components of machinery.
  • Lay out, assemble, install, and maintain piping systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, as well as repair and replace gauges, valves, and pressure regulators.
  • Maintain the physical structure of the facility.
  • May be required to perform non-maintenance tasks on a temporary basis.

Education and Experience:

A one-year certificate from a college or technical school; or three to six months of relevant experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
