About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Diagnostic Imaging Technologist to join our team at Dallas Medical Center. As a member of our imaging department, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and maintain computed tomography (CT) scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and efficient imaging procedures.
  • Process and transmit images to the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) for interpretation and storage.
  • Assist with patient preparation, positioning, and comfort during imaging procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient imaging procedures and results.
Requirements
  • One year of acute, clinical radiology experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of mobile and stationary radiographic/fluoroscopic equipment required.
  • Extensive knowledge of anatomy and medical terminology required.
  • Graduate of a program accredited by the Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT).
  • Radiology license and fluoroscopy permit as required by state.
  • Effective CT ARRT Certification required.
  • Must maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire.
  • Proficient computer skills required.
