Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled NET Full Stack Developer with Python to join our team at Voya Financial. As a key member of our technology team, you will play a critical role in building and maintaining our cloud-based data platform for Asset Management.

About the Role

This is a software development position that requires strong skills in middle-layer and API development on the Microsoft stack. You will work closely with our Data and Analytics professionals to build the future state operating model of Voya Investment Management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop new systems and maintain and modify existing systems as required.
  • Participate in process analysis, design, implementations, and commissioning phases.
  • Prepare technical specifications and design specifications.
  • Provide support in system acceptance testing and validation activities.
  • Review and recommend improvements to existing system designs.
  • Analyze project requirements and accordingly provide technical and functional recommendations.
  • Facilitate continuous process improvements within the team.
  • Recommend new technologies to improve system performance and reliability to senior leadership.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Software engineering and development experience required.
  • Experience across multiple platforms/technologies and languages including Python, Java, and.NET.
  • Programming, Database and Software systems experience in a financial environment.
  • Overall knowledge of various aspects of data engineering (databases, cloud data, data migration, data modeling, and middle layer architectures).
  • Investment Management background required.
  • Experience in building data analytics applications.
  • Experience in large-scale integrated online RDBMSs across multiple hardware and software platforms.
  • Experience in new computing architectures and implementation of networked computing structures, APIs, and User Interfaces.
  • Experience developing Unix, and/or Windows based applications, strong component, process and agile development methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Cloud data knowledge and experience (Azure preferred).
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, MIS, Engineering or a directly related field.

Compensation and Benefits

Voya Financial offers a competitive salary range of $84,930 - $141,560 USD, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, vision, and life insurance plans, 401(k) Savings plan, and paid time off.
