About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Medical Dosimetrist to join our team at SOS Healthcare Staffing. As a key member of our radiation oncology team, you will be responsible for generating radiation dose distributions and dose calculations based on your expertise and collaboration with the Medical Physicist and Radiation Oncologist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Generate radiation dose distributions and dose calculations based on education and expertise in collaboration with the Medical Physicist and Radiation Oncologist.
  • Operate and perform quality assurance on the treatment planning computer under the direction of the Medical Physicist.
  • Have working knowledge of radiation safety and current rules and regulations pertaining to radiation therapy.
  • Have the ability to interpret and execute treatment plans as defined in relevant treatment protocols.
  • Must possess mathematical skills and knowledge including algebra, trigonometry, geometry, and introductory calculus.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Medical Dosimetry program, or Certified as a Medical Dosimetrist.
  • Certification as a Medical Dosimetrist by the Medical Dosimetrist Certification Board (MDCB).
  • Complies with existing national and state laws and institutional policies related to qualifications required to practice medical dosimetry in Colorado.
  • 5+ years' experience in related field.
