Job Summary

The Restaurant Operations Manager is responsible for running a profitable restaurant and ensuring the restaurant meets quality of service and customer satisfaction. This person will be expected to coach, mentor, and care for team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Meet or exceed budgets while focusing on cost of goods sold and profitability
  • Manage daily paperwork, including sales reports, inventory, and other necessary documents
  • Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation
  • Complete monthly inspections using the Unit Inspection form
  • Order food and supplies needed to operate the unit
  • Hire and discipline staff members
  • Select and develop a staff member to assume all duties when absent
  • Hold monthly meetings with employees to discuss relevant information
  • Establish a visible presence in the community to drive business and increase sales
  • Enforce brand standards, company policies, and procedures
  • Ensure accurate completion of new hire paperwork, timesheets, and payroll data
  • Train staff in proper operations of the unit
  • Notify the District Manager or Vice President of Operations of any challenges
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to communicate effectively with all hourly associates
  • Ability to cover all shifts during normal operation
  • Previous restaurant experience required
  • Current ServSafe Certification (required within 3 months)
