Job Overview

The Restaurant Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a profitable restaurant and ensuring it meets the highest standards of quality, service, and customer satisfaction. This individual will be expected to mentor, coach, and care for team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Meet or exceed budgets while focusing on cost control and profitability
  • Manage daily administrative tasks, including sales reports, inventory, and other essential documents
  • Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety
  • Conduct regular inspections using a comprehensive checklist
  • Procure food and supplies necessary to operate the restaurant
  • Recruit, train, and discipline staff members
  • Select and develop a staff member to assume all duties in their absence
  • Host regular meetings with employees to discuss relevant information and address concerns
  • Establish a visible presence in the community to drive business and increase sales
  • Enforce brand standards, company policies, and procedures
  • Ensure accurate completion of new hire paperwork, timesheets, and payroll data
  • Train staff in proper restaurant operations
  • Notify the District Manager or Vice President of Operations of any challenges or concerns
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with all hourly associates
  • Ability to work varied shifts during normal operation
  • Previous restaurant experience required
  • Current Food Safety Certification (required within 3 months)
