Preconstruction Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Preconstruction Manager to oversee and manage all preconstruction activities for our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement preconstruction plans and schedules
  • Coordinate with project stakeholders to ensure project goals and objectives are met
  • Manage the bidding and procurement process for construction projects
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to assess project feasibility and identify potential issues
  • Prepare and present reports on preconstruction activities to management
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and safety standards
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to ensure smooth transition from preconstruction to construction phase
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
  • 7+ years of experience in the heavy civil market for a construction/engineering company
  • 5+ years of experience on CMAR, Public Private Partnerships, or Design-Build projects preferred
  • OSHA 30 certification
  • Strong understanding of preconstruction processes, including estimating, scheduling, and value engineering
  • Ability to travel to project sites as needed
