**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Materials and Analysis Engineer to join our team at General Dynamics Land Systems. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of our vehicle materials and structures.

**Responsibilities**

  • Develop and implement materials selection and qualification processes to ensure compliance with military and commercial specifications.
  • Conduct failure analysis and fractography to identify root causes of material failures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop vehicle structures and components.
  • Perform laboratory tests and deliver comprehensive analysis reports to support engineering decisions.
  • Interface with internal and external engineering organizations to ensure effective communication and collaboration.

**Requirements**

  • Bachelor's Degree in Materials Science, Metallurgy, or Materials Engineering.
  • 0-1 years of experience in materials engineering or a related field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
