Pennant Solutions Group is seeking a Vulnerability Subject Matter Expert (SME) to enhance our cybersecurity initiatives.
The ideal candidate will possess a Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information (TS/SCI) clearance, a Bachelor’s degree, and a Security+ certification, along with a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in conducting thorough assessments of systems and networks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and identify systems and networks that deviate from established configurations, enclave policies, or local regulations.
- Conduct compliance audits and active evaluations, including vulnerability assessments.
- Implement rigorous program control processes to mitigate risks and facilitate the certification and accreditation of systems.
- Engage in processing, analysis, coordination, security certification testing, and the creation of security documentation.
- Support the implementation of necessary government policies and provide sound recommendations for process improvements.
- Demonstrate expertise in analyzing and validating security requirements, recommending additional safeguards as necessary.
- Assist in the formal Security Test and Evaluation (ST&E) processes required by government accrediting authorities.
- Document outcomes of Certification and Accreditation activities, prepare system Security Plans, and update the Plan of Actions and Milestones (POA&M).
- Conduct periodic reviews of system audits and monitor corrective actions until resolution.
